Brigador Killers Saving, Gantries, and Lost Gear

Park it, save it, or watch the Garage eat your unfinished work.

Save & Gantry Rules

More Brigador Killers runs die in the Garage than on the street. Vehicles left off gantries, kits dumped on the floor, and misunderstood save triggers create soft wipes before Early Access even begins. This guide collects the storage rules players miss, then explains the bigger reset: demo and prior Itch progress will not carry into the August 20, 2026 Early Access build. Cross-link Garage Guide, Inventory and Loadouts, and Demo save reset.

When the game saves

Progress typically saves when you enter or exit the base, deploy on a mission, or press save from the pause menu. Do not assume walking past a pad is enough. After Fabricator builds or Armory dumps, open pause and save once before you alt-tab. If you scrap a vehicle and immediately crash to desktop, you may lose the scrap result—treat pause-save as part of the craft ritual.

Gantry rules that delete vehicles

  • One vehicle per gantry slot.
  • Expansion kits unlock more slots after you extract and deposit them at an Armory pad; expect a delay before slots are ready.
  • Vehicles not parked on a gantry can be lost if you deploy without them secured.
  • Items left on the floor are at risk when you leave—treat the concrete as temporary only.

After a successful sortie, your first job is not browsing the Merchant fantasy list. Your first job is parking, offloading, and saving. Use the Armory square to dump inventory quickly, then move each vehicle onto a labeled gantry habit. Expansion kits only help after deposit—carrying a kit forever in INV does nothing.

Armory pad discipline

Park returning vehicles on the Armory square to offload inventory quickly. Deposit key items and gantry kits here. Mount weapons only on hardpoint-ready chassis—see Mount Weapons. If you scrap on the Scrapper or build on the Fabricator, verify the result sits in storage or on a gantry before the next deploy. Pair this with Salvage and Fabricator so craft outputs do not become floor clutter.

Death versus Garage mistakes

Mission death can strip brought loadouts down toward a loyalist kit while keeping unlocked suit upgrades. Garage mistakes delete vehicles you simply forgot to park. Both hurt; only one is a combat lesson. Use the mission prep checklist as a departing ritual: gantries green, floor clear, save pressed.

Combat lessons belong on Combat Tips and Enemy Morale. Garage lessons belong here. Mixing them causes players to blame “RNG” for a sedan that was never parked.

Floor loot and temporary staging

The Garage floor is a staging area, not a vault. Guns, plates, and parts left on concrete can vanish when you deploy or reload. If you need a temporary sort pile, finish the sort in the same session: Armory columns for guns, gantries for vehicles, ammo storage for Fabricator outputs. Screenshot messy piles only as a rebuild reference—especially because demo piles will not import into EA.

Early Access progression wipes

Developers warn that EA restructuring may require additional progression wipes beyond the demo reset. They plan advance notice when possible. Keep screenshots of favorite loadouts in the loadout planner so rebuilds are faster after a wipe. Read Pricing & Bundles for storefront money only; in-Garage wealth still follows these save rules.

Pre-deploy ritual (say it aloud)

  1. Every vehicle I care about is on a gantry.
  2. Floor is clear of guns and kits.
  3. Expansion kits that unlocked are deposited.
  4. Pause menu save is pressed.
  5. Loadout risk matches the mission—see Getting Started.

Day-one EA reminder

On August 20, 2026 you start fresh. Practice these habits in the demo so EA day one is not a double wipe—one from import denial, one from unparked cars. Use the EA day-one checklist the night before launch.

If it is not on a gantry or in the Armory, it is a rumor about your future wealth.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Does the game autosave when I stand in the Garage?

Rely on enter/exit, deploy, or manual pause-save. Do not assume idle standing saves Fabricator results.

What happens to unparked vehicles?

They can be lost when you deploy. Always park on gantries before leaving.

Will my demo save open in Early Access?

No. Demo and prior Itch progress do not carry over because the campaign is being restructured.

Can Early Access wipe progress again later?

Possibly during major restructures. Developers aim to warn ahead of time.

Are items on the Garage floor safe?

No. Treat the floor as temporary staging. Move guns into Armory and vehicles onto gantries before deploy.
